Stock Futures Rise Ahead of Holiday-Shortened Week

Stock futures were rising to start a holiday shortened week, looking to extend Friday’s rally.
Just after 6 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, Dow Jones Industrial Average futures were up 185 points, or 0.4%, while S&P 500 futures were up 0.6% and Nasdaq futures were up 0.8%.
Traders are looking to close out November with momentum as investors grapple with uncertainty over the Federal Reserve’s next move on interest rates when it meets next month.
All three indexes rallied on Friday but closed lower for the week. The Dow shed nearly 1.9% for the week, according to Dow Jones Market Data, while the S&P 500 was down 1.9% for the week, and Nasdaq shed 2.7%.
